What does “no fluff” sound like to you?

To me, “no fluff” means being truthful and open about your experiences and feelings regarding a subject. It means providing a well-rounded perspective that acknowledges both the positives and the negatives, rather than simply highlighting the best aspects or trying to sell something. 

What part of freshman year matters most?

The most important part of freshman year is getting involved with multiple different organizations across campus. Being involved in a variety of groups is the best way to connect with new people and find out what you’re most interested in. It’s also important to be involved as a freshman because your early contributions to an organization may provide pathways for you to become a leader later on. 

Why are honest student voices important?

Honest student voices are important because they provide realistic and diverse perspectives on the university. While tour guides do a great job speaking on behalf of a general student body, hearing from honest individuals offers unique experiences and opportunities that you may not otherwise hear. Additionally, honest students are able to speak on both positive and negative aspects of university life, which allows high school students to make well-informed decisions.
